The White House released a copy of President Obama’s birth certificate this morning. Donald Trump and other republicans were making it a big issue recent months. Many uninformed people were disputing claims that the President was actually born in the U.S. and was a legal United States citizen. Some of these attacks may have been racial in nature.
In a statement released by the White House, it is said that President Obama felt that the issue regarding his birth was becoming too much af a distraction for the American people.
Maybe now people can focus on more important issues concerning our country.
