The Call Starring Halle Berry was Surprisingly Good

March 29th, 2013

The Call which stars award winning actress Halle Berry was surprisingly good. Halle Berry plays a 911 operator in the movie who becomes emotionally attached to the victim. I didn’t expect much going in as kidnapping movies have been done millions of times, but this one manages to keep you interested throughout the whole movie. Morris Chestnut plays a cop and he also happens to be Halle Berry’s love interest in the movie.

August 19th, 2012
by The Editor

Just saw the movie Sparkle yesterday and I really enjoyed it. All the performances by the actors were excellent and the Sparkle soundtrack is outstanding. The movie features Jordin Sparks, Mike Epps, Cello Green, and Whitney Houston in her final role as well as many others. If you like the movie Dream Girls, then you’ll love Sparkle as I thought it was a better.

Here is a trailer for the movie Sparkle:

Think Like a Man Movie Review

April 21st, 2012
by The Editor

I just saw the movie Think Like a Man yesterday. The movie stars Gabrielle Union, Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, and Taraji P. Henson among others. Comedian Kevin Hart was hilarious in this movie. Four men realize their significant others have been taking relationship tips from Steve Harvey’s best-selling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, and use the book’s teachings to give the ladies a taste of their own medicine. I recommend this movie as one of the best comedy romance films of the year.

President Obama recently commented publicly for the first time about the Trayvon Martin case . President Obama did not wish to go into too much detail because things are still under investigation, but he said “if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon Taylor.” He also so stated that it was a tragedy and that he can only imagine what Trayvon’s parents are going through.
